A space for those touched by birth — and the journey that unfolds before and after it.
Whether you are pregnant and sensing the quiet threshold of becoming, a mother listening to what birth and motherhood have awakened within you, or a birth worker standing alongside women and families in tender moments — this is a space where there is no need to fix, perform, or hurry.
Welcome to AwakenLife Yoga, it is so lovely to have you here!
Whether you’re navigating the tenderness of postpartum, preparing to welcome new life, supporting others through birth, or simply longing for a place to feel seen, held, and gently reconnected to your body — I’m here with you.
Together, we move at your pace.
There is no rush, no fixing, no expectation to arrive anywhere.
Through trauma-sensitive yoga and integrative counselling, I offer a space to listen to what lives beneath the surface — for mothers and families, and for the birth workers who hold so much for others. A space to meet both the light and the shadow with care, curiosity, and compassion.
Here, experience is honoured.
Safety and choice are central.
And healing unfolds within capacity.

Now offering The Sky Between Us - An Introduction
A gentle companion for mothers navigating the threshold of birth and becoming.
This book explores the relational field — between mother and baby, partners, past and present — and the unseen layers birth awakens.
Tender, trauma-sensitive, and grounded in lived experience, it invites you to move slowly, within capacity, as you integrate what birth revealed
About Juliana…
I am a mother to Kai and Luca.
Becoming a mother, and slowly healing from birth, is what shaped the work I now hold through AwakenLife.
Motherhood, as I have come to know it, is not a fixed identity but a continual unfolding. It carries immense light alongside tender shadow. It invites joy that takes your breath away, grief that arrives quietly, and moments that stretch you beyond what you believed you could hold.
Along the way, old stories can surface. Edges are revealed.
The body speaks. Sometimes gently, sometimes urgently. Asking to be listened to with greater care.
This path has taught me that becoming a mother is also a process of becoming more deeply oneself. Learning, unlearning, and meeting life again and again — within capacity.
Alongside supporting mothers and families, I hold a deep longing to walk with birth workers. Those who witness so much, hold so much, and are often asked to keep going without being held themselves.
I am committed to nurturing spaces that support a more with-woman approach to birth — one rooted in compassion, presence, choice, and respect for the nervous system, for bodies, and for the humans within and out of the system.
As a trauma-sensitive yoga educator and integrative counsellor, I offer a gentle, relational space where healing is not pushed toward, but allowed to unfold.
A space where courage can emerge softly, kindness can be practised inwardly, and curiosity is welcomed.
Love notes from clients…
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
