General booking terms

Invoice sent from AwakenLife Yoga for Bank Transfer as follow:

• 50% Deposit to secure the selected retreat dates and signature of “booking agreement”

• Balance of remaining 50% 30 days prior to retreat commencement date

• If the retreat commencement date is less than 30 days away, full payment is required to secure the booking.
  

Cancellations

• Deposit is non-refundable if cancellation is requested 30 days or less prior to retreat commencement date. 

• If payment of the balance is not received by the due date AwakenLife Yoga reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.

• For bookings made 30 days or less from the commencement of the retreat, the total booking is non-refundable but may be transferred to another person.

• Where a Booking has been secured but a Force Majeure Event affects the Booking, AwakenLife Yoga will advise the Guest as soon as they become aware of the Force Majeure Event. 

• Where ALY gives notice in accordance with the above, ALY will use its best endeavours to give the Guest the option to:

  • change the Date of Booking;

  • cancel the Booking, in which case the Deposit and/or total amount payed will be returned to the Client.

• Any extras cancelled within 72 hours before period booked incur a 50% charge.

Limit on Liability

The Guest indemnifies and holds harmless AwakenLife Yoga from and against any liability or claim that the Guest sustains or incurs because of any of the following:

• AwakenLife Yoga shall not be liable for any unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our normal control, which the consequences of could not have been avoided even when exercising all due care. Such circumstances or events include, but are not limited to, pandemic outbreak, war or threat of war, riot, civil unrest, industrial disputes or strikes, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors, unavoidable technical problems with the accommodation, transport, terrorist activity, natural disasters, industrial disasters, fire, theft, flooding and adverse weather conditions. In the event of any the above, refunds and compensation payments cannot be made.

• AwakenLife Yoga accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or illnesses which may be received during the guest’s stay or travelling to and from AwakenLife Yoga retreats. 

• All guests must take responsibility for their own medical and physical fitness.

• AwakenLife Yoga cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of guests.

• During the course of the retreat,  we may take photographs – including meal times, yoga classes, and workshops. In booking with us, you provide us with your permission to be photographed, and for these photos to be used in our marketing materials.
